The project reinterprets the spatial logic of a traditional Central Highlands village through the concept of an inner square—a civic space where everyday life, rituals, and community activities converge. A network of courtyards, alleys, and open spaces encourages social interaction while connecting architecture with the surrounding landscape.

Rather than replicating vernacular forms, the design abstracts their essential principles: collective gathering, spatial hierarchy, layered thresholds, and continuity between built form and nature. Architecture is conceived as part of a larger environmental system, integrating pathways, water, vegetation, and public spaces into a unified whole.

Monolithic volumes and rough local materials evoke the geological character of the highlands while creating spaces of light, shadow, and contemplation. The symbolic presence of the rong house is reinterpreted through proportion and spatial organization, while existing Kơ Nia trees are preserved as both ecological and cultural anchors of the project.
